Hi Cathy,
I don't know if you know of the Allegheny Regional Ancestors publication or
not. It is a publication that has good info on the area. I found In the
Allegheny Ancestor Vol 7 # 4 Winter 1998. A partial list of Atricles
relating to the Randolph Co Area compiled by David Armstrong . It is a
partial list of newspaper and magazine articles dealing with the history and
genealogy of the Randolph Co , WV region. It does not include articles in
the Allegheny REgional Ancestors or the Hackers Creek Journal, both of which
published extensive material on Randolph Co. The title of the article is in
the first column, the author is shown in the second column, followed by a
publication code and date. The key to the publication code is at the end of
the list. Additons to this list can be submitted to David Armstrong for
inclusion in possible updates.
Historic Early Settlers of Dry Fork ( serial) by Wyatt RE22Feb 56. RE
stands for Randolph Enterprise I believe these papers are on microfilm at
Morgantown University College in Morgantown , Wv. It is possible I guess to
write to them and get a photo copy of the article for a price. If you want a
list and there is alot let me know and I will send you a copy by snail mail.
You can't get copys form Allegheny Regional . here is the web site address
for them. <A HREF="http://www.swcp.com/~dhickman/arfhs.html">http://www.swcp.com/~dhickman/arfhs.html</A> you may want to check
it out. you can order publications from them for $5.00.
Well that is it for now. If I find more later I will post it to you. Robin
in Lakeland.
