Hello Everyone,
Just thought I would ask everyone a question. Am I the only one that includes
all the descendants of a surname ? Like Tennant, Pyles, Wilson and so on. I
have been doing research on my family now for about 3 years, I resently was
contacted for help on one of my surnames, the person stated they are making
books on the family, but they only include the people with that last name,
like Tennant. So, does that go to mean that the descendants of the women do
not count as descendants of that surname ? Just think of all the family being
left out, it is in my opinion that the word "Family" means everyone ! In my
research I include everyone I find. For those of you making books on surnames
just think what the book would be worth if it includes the whole family. For
at least so many generations. I'm sorry if this causes bad feelings for me
writing this, but I was just curious to know if I'm the only one that thinks
this ?
