1. Zadok BARKER was born in 1827 in , Monongalia Co., Virginia. He died on
4 Feb 1917 in , Taylor County, West Virginia.

source his name is spelled "Zadok".

PARENTS-SIBLINGS: Information from 1996 Ancestral File. CONFLICT: Year of
birth given as 1810 which conflicts with the Census and marriage records.

Zadok married (1) Alcinda LINN, daughter of William LINN and Helen (Daisy)
CARDER, about 1856/1857 in , Poss. Taylor Co., Virginia. Alcinda was born
about 1842 in , , Virginia. She died in 1876 in , Prob. Taylor Co., Prob.
W.Virginia.

is given as "Alcinda" in this source.

All were
born in Virginia. See T-2. NOTE: It would appear that "Lucinda" and
Alcinda are the
same person. Further, Alcinda's parents live very nearby, almost next door.

also B-6, #1, page 7 where her name is given as "Lucinda." Birth given as
1842 and
death as 1876.

appear that this is the correct family, though William was not
mentioned in the Linn Family History. Did he die in childhood?


3 F ii. Martha E. BARKER was born in 1858/1859 in , Prob. Taylor Co.,
Virginia.

Zadok also married (2) Martha Ellen COFFMAN, daughter of George COFFMAN and
Sarah "Sally" BENNETT, on 20 Feb 1878 in , Taylor County, West Virginia.
Martha was born in 1837 in , , Virginia. She died in Nov 1815 in , of Taylor
County, of West Virginia.

QUESTION: Was Martha previously married? Is Coffman her maiden name?
