Have you checked the WV death certificates? They're online and free.

Has any one digitized obituaries in Taylor County? Will the local newpaper
be of any help via mail or phone, or must we visit in person?

And has any one contacted area funeral homes for such information?

I am working on someone who was 55 in 1942...which gives some general time
frame in which I need to concentrate
