My wife is descended from "William A. Wilson" who married Sarah Jane Gillis
and died before 1880 in NC. The family was from around Moore County by late
1800's. I don't know much at all about William A. Wilson, he may have been
from Scotland. Do you know anymore about Newton Franklin Wilson's sibs? My
William A. Wilson had children born c. 1865 and I don' know that I have a
complete children list. Would love to learn more about this family. Maybe
there's a connection. Here's what I have:

1. William A. Wilson died Bef 1880. He married Sarah Jane Gillis in Moore
County?, North Carolina, daughter of Malcom Gillis and Alice Morrison.

Children of William Wilson and Sarah Gillis are:

+3ii.Atlas Alexander Wilson, born May 25, 1865 in Moore County,
North
Carolina; died June 24, 1947 in Moore County, North Carolina.
4iii.Margaret Wilson, born 1866.
5iv.Purg(?) Wilson, born 1866. He married Yancey Wiggins.

3. Atlas Alexander Wilson (William A.1) was born May 25, 1865 in Moore
County, North Carolina, and died June 24, 1947 in Moore County, North
Carolina. He married Sarah Catherine Williamson December 26, 1883 in Moore
County, North Carolina, daughter of Isaac Williamson and Eleanor Key.

Children of Atlas Wilson and Sarah Williamson are:
6i.Minerva J. Wilson, born May 12, 1886.
+7ii.Goodman Alexander Wilson, born June 30, 1890 in Cameron, Moore
County, North Carolina; died November 26, 1965 in Fayetteville, Cumberland
County, North Carolina.
8iii.Margaret A. Wilson, born May 05, 1894 in North Carolina; died May
22, 1898 in Jackson Springs, Moore, North Carolina.
9iv.Martin Luther Wilson, born April 29, 1896 in North Carolina. He
married Vera [Wilson].
10v.Labram Archie Wilson, born June 16, 1897 in Moore, North Carolina;
died September 09, 1956. He married Alice Graham.
11vi.Cora Lee Wilson, born October 21, 1908. She married Dewey Cook.

7. Goodman Alexander3 Wilson (Atlas Alexander2, William A.1) was born June
30, 1890 in Cameron, Moore County, North Carolina, and died November 26, 1965
in Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina. He married Snoda Finna
Smith, daughter of Noah Smith and Melinda Williams.

Children of Goodman Wilson and Snoda Smith are:
12i.Lavan4 Wilson. He married Ikiko.
13ii.Amy Melre Wilson, born June 14, 1913 in Jackson Springs, Moore, North
Carolina. She married Thurney Ridgeon.
14iii.Lois Wilson, born March 15, 1915. She married William Frye.

16v.Melinda Helen Wilson, born October 15, 1917. She married Ralph

17vi.Robert Atlas Wilson, born March 20, 1920 in Candor, Ben Salem, Moore,
