In response to Karen's query: I wrote to Valley Falls, NY, and received a
response from a Mrs. Ellen L. Wiley: Buried in the Maplewood Cemetery Arron
Wilson 1824-1885, Marie Wilson 1827-1905, Ruth Wilson 1846-1919, and at the
Hillside Cemetery Benjamin Wilson 1784-Jan 23, 1858, Hugh Wilson 1832-March
13, 1863, John Wilson 1819 - Jan 1, 1855, and Samuel Wilson 1820 - Mary 3,
1845.
In the Johnson Akin Cemetery, Hattie Tyrell, d 1865.
Ezra Wilson, my direct ancestor, was born 1 April 1787 in NY and married
Edith Porter born 22 July 1796 in Pittstown, NY. Ezra Wilson and Edith
Porter show up in the 1850 Wisconsin Census.
VValley Falls and Pittstown are in Jefferson County, NY. An additional note
on the family sheet says that Ezra's father came from Mass in 1775 to Central
NY, Rev War Vet, lived in Northampton Co, NY 1837 and the rest didn't copy.
Handwritten materials sent to me take the Wilson line back to Robert Wilson
1612-1644 and Susan (Alice) Ram Wilson source History of Suffolk Co, Mass.
