Dear Mr. Mason:

May I encourage you to make your haplotype available for Ray and
others' research? You are one of only two G1 haplotypes in the FTDNA
Haplogroup G Project. Also, you are a CONFIRMED G1 with only 12
markers as seen on the project public page:

http://www.familytreedna.com/public/G-YDNA

The fact that you have no exact matches to your original 12 markers
is a consequence of the uncommon value of your haplotype. I will
defer to Ray on testing additional markers, but your basic twelve are
already useful.

I encourage you to offer to provide a sample for Drs. Garvey and
Ballantyne to use in their research on our haplogroup's sub-clades:

http://www.yhaplogroups.info/

If you have already responded to their request for your haplotype,
then our haplogroup owes you a collective thanks!
Regards,

Peter T. Christy, Administrator
Haplogroup G Project
