Simply by giving permission for your haplotype to be available should
be adequate. I have neither the credentials nor the knowledge to
understand "median joining networks" and other ways of expressing
relatedness, but I know they are important tools to further our
understanding of Haplogroup G. Ray Banks, Ted Kandell, Whit Athey,
Dennis Garvey and others use our haplotype DYS marker values from the
FTDNA Haplogroup G Project, but with our permission. As one of the
few confirmed G1 members, your haplotype will be in high demand!
