Your haplotype fits best into my "maverick" group, and you seem to have
three close matches with other surnames --- Herrick, Harrod, and
Robinson --- which are also in the group.

Needless to say all "mavericks" should have DYS462 measured.

Note I1a-AS is the older of the basic I1a types. One can be DYS390 = 23 and
DYS385 = 14-14 with only two mutations from the norm for I1a-AS, 390 = 22
and 385 = 13-14. My "mavericks" are mostly of this motif. One can
conjecture that they eventually will have a DYS462 = 12 in most cases and
become a branch of I1a-AS. But we'll not know unless DYS462 is measured.

The first thing any I1a haplotype ambiguous as to being AS or Norse should
do is measure DYS462. It's a worthwhile $7 investment.
