DYS455 = 12 is extremely rare in I2b1. Like one or two known! It could be
a fairly recent mutation in your ancestral line. There certainly is not a
known population of them out there to discuss.

So, I am I2B1. M223+ and 12 at DYS 455. I have only seen one other. This
seems, to be, one marker that seperates me, from the rest. Even, my closest
genetic match, so far.

The one other,(DYS 455,12 alleles); subject, I have seen, is not very
genetically close. Further away than my nearest genetic match, so far.

I can only surmise it is a geographical or family predisposed marker.
