Jessiemine Yarborough
DARLINGTON -- Jessiemine Murray Yarborough, 73, of Home Avenue died Sunday,
Sept. 14, 1997, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence.
She was born in Roxboro, N.C., a daughter of the late Samuel and Polly Ann
Johnson Murray.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Darlington. During 48 years
of ministry with her husband, she was a Sunday school teacher and active
church worker. She retired from Belk in Conway in 1979.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Henry S. Yarborough Sr.; a son, the
Rev. H.S. Yarborough Jr. of Charleston; four daughters, Marsha Nobles of
North Myrtle Beach, Darlene Holmes of Conway, Karen Alexander of Cincinnati
and Debbie Coats of Loris; two sisters, Miriam Briggs of Greensboro, N.C.,
and Mary Lee Whitfield of Roxboro; a stepmother, Lillian Clarke of
Yanceyville, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Monday night at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway chapel. The
funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at North Conway Baptist Church in Conway.
Entombment will be at Hillcrest Mausoleum.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 1601 N. Oak St.,
Suite 307, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577, or to the church of your choice.
