Dear Rob
Use the Family History catalogue on line to find the batch numbers for
parishes.
go to www.familysearch.org
click on custom search
click on Family History Library Catalogue
Click on place name
enter in the name of the parish you want. I will use Flisk Scotland as an
example
click on the blue printing"Scotland, Fife Flisk
up comes a list of resources for that parish
click on church records indexes
click on computer printout(of Flisk)
there you'll see the batch numbers for the parish 114302, 4
put a C in front to get the christening batch numbers C114302 and C114304
and put an M in front for the marriages. There are a fwe
parishes that don't use M or C but this gets most of them. The odd one uses
a K or a P

Let me know if you still have trouble
