Well, I thought nothing could upstage that superb closing ceremony last night, but I was wrong. A penfriend rang from UK to say she and her fiance were hoping to come to NZ next year to visit us, and get married while they are here! WOW!

And - (some of you who've been listers for a while my remember some of the antics of our young cat Max) - we discovered the much needed antibiotics for my husband's chest infection had been "stolen" by our kleptopaws and hidden under the sofa. It is the hiding place for his toys, stolen pens, etc, he shoves them under and then cannot reach to get them out again. We'd been hunting for that little pill bottle all day.
