Hi Listes,
Now this got me curious, I was told that my GG Grandmother was a dressmaker
to the ladies in waiting for the queen. I would be curious to know the 1871
census for this, If I could find her name on that that would be way cool!
Her name was Susan Salt and she was born in Carlisle in 1852, she would be
19 in 1871. I believe she had already come to the states in 1881. Would
someone mind checking this? Many thanks!
Sincerely,
Debbie Christie-Rogers
