MARRIAGES

On Tuesday, the 1st inst., at Stockton, Mr. Isaiah CARTER of Thornaby, to
Miss Mary WEDGEWOOD, of Acklam.
On Monday, the 7th inst., at Norton church, by the Rev. E. DAY, Mr. William
Pallister SHAW, cordwainer, to Miss Emma HEBDON, Norton.
On Tuesday, the 8th inst., at St. Michael's church, by the Rev. W. CARTER,
assisted by the Rev. G. A. FIRTH, J.W. WILLIAMSON Esq., to Eliza, youngest
daughter of Mr. John DAVISON, innkeeper, all of Malton.

DIED

At West Heslerton, on the 2nd inst., in the 91st year of his age, Mr. Thomas
COULTAS, much respected.
On Thursday, the 3rd inst., at Whitby, aged 72, Mr. Wm. READSHAW, baker.
At the Queen's Head Inn, Amotherby, on the 5th instant, Charles, second son
of Mr. John AVISON, aged 3 years; and on the 7th, also in Amotherby,
Elizabeth RACE, aged 5 months.
At Appleton-le-Street, on the 7th inst., Ann, relict of the late Mr. George
HOOD, and mother of Mrs. G. NELSON, late of the King's Head inn, Malton,
aged 82.
On the 8th inst., at the house of her uncle, Mr. R. COOPER, butcher,
Swinton, Sarah Ann HARRISON, aged 5 years.
