On the 12th instant, at Wrelton, the wife of H. HARDY, Esq., of a daughter.
On the 15th inst., at Rosedale the wife of Mr John DAWSON, of twins
(daughters).
On the 20th instant, at New Malton, the wife of Mr G. ALLEN, of a daughter.
On the 23rd instant, at Appleton-le-Street, the wife of Mr John LUND, farmer
of a daughter.

MARRIED

On the 12th inst., at Hull, with license, Mr. John HUNT, butcher, Huggate,
to Miss Hannah, eldest daughter of Mr John PETLEY, Fridaythorpe.
On the 19th inst., at Wetwang, by the Rev. --- MATTHEWS, Mr William
BRADSHAW, blacksmith, Sledmere, to Miss Caroline COX, of Wetwang.
On the 19th inst., at Weaverthorpe, by the Rev. F. W. TAYLOR, Mr N. MORRIS,
Weaverthorpe, to Mis Racel third daughter of Mr. Wm SKELTON, Helperthorpe.
On the 22nd inst., at the Parish Church, Brompton, by the Rev. W. J.
MIDDLETON, vicar, Mr Isaac GARNETT, draper, to Miss Mary Ann SMITH, second
daughter of Mr Jacob SMITH, farmer, all of Brompton, near Northallerton.

DEATHS

On the 11th inst., at Uppleby Villa, Easingwold, the beloved wife of Mr John
ROOKLEDGE, chemist, &c., aged 28 years, respected by all who knew her. Her
end was peace.
on the 14th instant, at Easingwold, Thomas, infant son of Mr Amos JOHNSON,
aged 2 years 6 months.
On the 15th, at Easingwold, after a protracted illness, the youngest
daughter of Mr Roger JONES, retired Inland-Revenue officer.
On the 16th, at New Malton, Mr. Robert COATES, labourer, aged 86.
On the 18th inst., at Norton, Elizabeth, widow of Mr Wm. ABBOT, aged 86.
On the 19th inst., at Pickering, Elizabeth, wife of Mr Wm. HUNTON, aged 62
years, having been a member of the Primitive Methodist Connection 36 years.
On the 26th instant, at Norton, William, son of Mr Joseph KEWLEY, aged 8.
Same day, at Northallerton, Mr. John SHEPHERD, formerly landlord of the
Golden Lion, and son of Mr Wm. SHEPHERD, governer of the Northallerton Gaol,
aged 45 years.
On the 23rd inst., at New Malton, Maria Louisa, daughter of Mr H. TEALL,
stonemason, aged 3.
