NOT really. It just goes to show that YORKSGENNERS have a bit more taste and
discrimination than the rest of the human race who actually bought the records!

There is also, I suggest, a curious factor at work here in that certain disc
jockeys (i.e. Terry Wogan) just love to play appallingly bad records so they
can jest and make fun of them, little knowing there are listeners out there who
will actually LIKE them and go out and buy them in sufficiently large numbers
to make them hits!

How do you think Ken Dodd, Des O'Connor and Max Bygraves ever got to be so
popular, not to mention that American freak called Tiny Tim???
