Can anyone tell me if there is a n accepted protocol for birth estimates.
The obvious thing to do is 1901 -age--, but this is wrong more often than it is right. Is this the accepted way. . I guess the use of arrows (<year >).is used to denote that information is an estimate. Although anyone using my information has to accept my scruples , if there is a protocol I would like to use it. TIA
