the Rev. M.R. BRESHER, Mr Thomas West JOHNSON, farmer, of Garforth Hall,
Malton, to Harriet, second daughter of Mr BELLERBY, late bookseller, York.
On the 31st ult., at the Parish church, Whitby, by the Archdeacon of Bombay,
William Sterling OLIPHANT, Esq., Capt. of the Royal Bengal Engineers, to
Augusta Mary, third daughter of the late John CHAPMAN, Esq., of St. Hilda's
Terrace, and of Huntingdon.
Same day, at St. Leonard's church, New Malton, by the Rev. R.C. ELLIOT, Mr
James WOLSTENHOME, engineer, to Miss Jane PILMOOR, both of Malton.

DEATHS

On the 25th ult., at Bradford, Alfred, son of Mr Isaac ROWNTREE, in the 25th
year of his age.
On the 30th ult., at Stokesley, Mr John TWEDDELL, aged 68 years.

of her age.
On the 27th ult., at Great Ayton, Mr Richard CARLOS (or CARLES?), brewer and
spirit merchant, aged 46 years.
