Hi Christina,

I have just returned from near Pocklington and often heard Heighton as a
placename. I have just checked my map and there is no place in Yorkshire
spelt "Heighton", however the "Heighton" which I know of is spelt "Hayton"
which would have a postal address of York, so I suspect that this is your
place. It is just south of Pocklington on the A1079 between York and Market
Weighton.
