Hi Folks
I just wanted to add my twopenneth in praise of Legacy. I'd been through
three (paid for) fh programs before starting to use the free download
version and without doubt it gets my vote for best value for money award (ie
nowt!) in just about everything, let alone genealogy. I'm not so sure it
would be great for an absolute beginner but for someone who knows a little
about what they're doing its simply fantastic.
Cheers all
Jon

No, I haven't seen this programme, but IMHO the best software programme
available - and it can be downloaded FREE from the website - is the standard
version of LEGACY. Since finding this programme I have scrapped ALL my
previous
Family History software programmes (some of them quite expensive) and
switched
totally to this one. I have also introduced about a dozen other local
researchers to the programme, and all profess themselves delighted with it.
Furthermore, the technical support on-line from the website is good - and
fast. (And
still further more, those slumbering moths in Yorkshire wallets can remain
undisturbed)
