Jan,
Patricia Jorna's book 'Ellerker, a 150 Years of Church and Village', contains a
partial transcription of the 1841 census. John Glasby doesn't appear but his
parents seem to be there. There is no way of telling what constitutes one
family or houshold from the transcription, but this looks like one:
Willam GLASBY aged 50 Labourer
Elizabeth GLASBY aged 50
Batson GLASBY aged 10
John WRIGHT aged 8
Robert GLASBY aged 4
I don't think there is any name in dex for this part of Yorkshire in 1841.
