When you say 'site' I presume that you mean the Yorksgen message archive?

for other lists: http://listsearches.rootsweb.com/ and type in the name of
the list.
I have not had any other reports of problems and there is certainly nothing
on the Rootsweb Help page to suggest that there is a problem. Please try
again and, if you still see the same thing, let me know and I will contact
the Rootsweb Technical Department.
We are assured, by Rootsweb Central, that it is not possible to get a virus
via any emails from Rootsweb lists.
