Hi! Listers,
Does anyone recall the contents of "Gale" Beer? The subject came up in conversation, today, with a lady in her eighties, who has lived all her life in and around Pickering.
Being a Wezzy, and leading a sheltered life<VBG> I've never heard of it until today, and the only reference to "Gale" in my dictionary, apart from the all-too-topical winds, mentions a plant of that name, so perhaps Gale beer was brewed using the leaves?
