Having been a listmember for many years I feel I have the right to comment about the recent *goings on*.
The folk who are complaining about the recent "Humour" thread SURELY can't have much Yorkshire blood passed down to them from their forebears at all! My Canadian born son often complains that his Canadian contemporaries haven't a clue what he(my son) could be dying with laughing about at times. Having 90% Yorkshire ancestors gives him a fantastic sense of humour!
Roy's return has livened up this list which over the past year or so has been very boring.
I (along with many others) have done many many lookups for folk and certainly don't mind doing it, but the interspersing of letters with Roy's quirkiness and humour have had me in stitches this week.A good laugh is wonderful.
For all those who want to complain, go ahead, I shall just delete *those* letters as they should have done Roy's!
Yes and why aren't you working at work???
