Hello everyone,

My goodness, this has been a busy week for the YKS surnames list! I guess that the BBC "Who do you think you are?" programme is getting everyone interested in family history. This has certainly been a bumper week of changes, deletions and most especially new surname submissions, which is why I am posting this update earlier than I normally would.

There were more than 25 changes to existing email addresses, so please don't rush to conclusions if someone in your personal contact list has a bouncing address. Check first with that person's entry in the YKS database - it may have changed.

There were 8 confirmed bouncing emails and the following entries have been deleted from the database. Offenders will have to resubmit their surnames. I am sorry if anyone has been inconvenienced meanwhile.
