I'm searching for information on Davis YOUNG, born in SC in 1828,
married Elizabeth ____, also born in SC in 1828. The 1870 census shows
them living in Bartow Co, GA with 5 children, Francis, Alen, Isaac
Newton (my ggrandfather), Pemmely and Jane. The census also shows a
Pemely YOUNG and Nancy YOUNG living in the adjacent house. From their
ages they are possibly Davis YOUNG's mother and sister. In another
adjacent dwelling are Zack YOUNG, his wife Mary and their 5 children.
They may be Davis YOUNG's brother and his family. None of these people
appear in the 1860 census for Georgia. Davis YOUNG's child, Jane, is
shown as age 4, born in SC. Indicating they moved to GA between 1867 and
1869. Any further information on this family would be appreciated.
