Hi again. This is in regard to Curtis Young b. 1855 Mass/NY, whom you have
already checked to no avail. Would you please try Frank(lin) Curtis Young b.
1855 or Curtis Frank(lin) Young b 1855. You probably would have seen the
second one, but I thought I would add it. Do you SC or Ireland? If so,
could you please check there also. I have just received further information.
Thank you very much for any assistance you can offer.
Joy

I kept trying to find the connection of my William
VANBUSKIRK with yours and I could not. I had a couple in the Penn area and
one had the wife surname Jans that was from Holland and her husband from
Denmark.
Sorry couldn't find her in the book.
There was not any Fannie nor Francis Young's in the
book. Sorry
You may want to check the book out. The Adam it
starts with is 1822 and he was from Germany. It is close to the date you
have. There was not any Philipine Young's so if it is a brother to the Adam
then you may not need the book. It is Our Young Family by Norman F. Young.
There is not any of the YOUNG you mentioned. You said
there was more be sure they are young surname or someone married to young as
this is a book titled Our Young Family. Was the Arnolds married to a
Jennifer Renee YOUNG or was the surname of her RENEE? I was confused on that
one. Sorry.
Sorry could not find any match for you.
Here is a bit from the introduction of the book;
Two hundred-one years ago in 1791, George Jacob Young and his wife Anna
Maria, the earliest of our known ancestors, had their second child, Heinrich
Jacob Young, baptized in Knopp, Pfalz. Heinrich married Margaretha Utzinger
about 1816 and they had four children who were born in Hettenhausen, Pfalz A
5th child Daniel was born and died in infancy. The birth order was Valentine,
Elizabeth, Adam, & Margaretha Young. His wife died when the children were 6
to 15 yrs old. He married a second time to Ottilia Reiter. Elizabeth came
to the US in 1839 settling in Seneca County, Ohio and married William Bauman
in 1844. Margaretha married Jacob Fatscher in 1849 and Adam married
Margaretha Reiter and the 2 couples each with one child came to America.
Jacob and Margaretha settled in New York and Adam went from Ohio to Indiana
where he purchased land in Jefferson Twnshp, Wells Cty., (skipping a bit of
info here) Valentine the eldest son of Heinrich married Caroline Kiefer in
1852 and they emigrated from Germany 1864 to Indiana. That is a bit of the 6
page intro.
