1. Unknown1 Young was born Abt. 1840 in Missouri. He married Rosie "nickname" Unknown. She was born Abt. 1840.

Notes for Father Young:

Story is told Unknown Young and two of his sons went off to fight in the Civil War while in Missouri. When they returned their home was destroyed and family missing. Rosie, as she was called, left their home in Missouri and traveled by wagon to Arkansas with children; John Plez Young, Jim Young, Emeline Young, and Liza Young. Unknown Young remarried a few years later and had two sons. The boys never returned home. Many years later Mr. Young heard his first wife and children were in Arkansas. He died somewhere in Arkansas while looking for his first family from pneumonia..

I did find a Rosie Barker in the 1880 AR Census, age 52 living with a John Young Family in White County. Vol 14 ED 284 Sheet 20 Line 23 (Researching)

John Plez Young owned 2 saw mills and a cotton gin in Spencerville, Oklahoma. He was shot driving a wagon home. The man who shot him got 50 years. His name was Wilson. John Plez lived 3 days after the shooting.
