Hi List,
I have new information on John Young. I hope that some one out there can help me. John was born some where in NC in either 1789 or 1790. He may have a brother named Jim. He married Millie (Milla) Thompson, daughter of John Thompson Sr. and Arrniswaki ( full blooded Cherokee ), Abt 1809. He was in Madison Co., AL in 1810. They were living in Howard Co., AR in 1812. By 1816 they were back in AL, this time Morgan Co. In 1821 they were in Polk Co., AR. By 1822 they were back in Morgan Co., AL. Sometime around 1837 they were in Hardeman TN. The 1850 Census has him back in Polk CO., AR. They bounced around a lot !!! Does any one have a clue who this man was?
