Fay,

The best I can up with, is that all the Mary's in my
past were of the New Castle, PA area. At least, that
is where they are buried. I don't know of any of my
family in/from the VT area. In fact, I'm not sure
where they came from. They appeared in the Lawrence
County area from thin air. And that is about how much
I found out about them since.

Thanks for your interest. I sent what info I had on
the McCANDLESSs to their clan address, but no
response.
