Obit: Steuben Courier, Bath, NY; 01 May 1929, O. H. Younglove Dies; Hammondsport Man was Farmer, Merchant, Wine Manufacturer.
Hammondsport - Feb 26 - O. Hoyt Younglove, 83, prominent farmer and vineyardist, died after a few day illness of pneumonia. He was the son of the late Timothy and Mattie? Younglove, and was born in the farm home where he died and where his grandfather had made a home among the early settlers of Pleasant Valley.
Mr. Younglove for a number of years was engaged in the hardware business in Hammondsport. He was proprietor of the Monarch Wine Company, beside carring on a large farm and vineyard interests.
He was a member of St James Episcopal Church.
He is survived by one son Charles of Philadelphia: a daughter, Mrs. Ambrose Hewlett, of Bath; one grandson, Timothy Y. Hewlett, Toledo; and three granddaughters, Mrs. Leonard Wood, and Miss Rosa Younglove of Hammondsport, a Mrs. Arthur Merrills of Boston, MA also by six great grandchildren.
