Jeanne, George Peter is my ancestor and I have the information on all of his
descendants if you or anyone on this site are related.
My grandmother, Laura M Zellner Hodge who was 4 years old on the Monroe
County, Georgia census was his descendant.
Also, he was a Hessian soldier and his name was Georg peter Zoellner.

Hi you may already have this but in my search for Selner/Zellner/Zoellner
(and any spelling in between). This information was retrieved as sited.
Hope it helps.
Happy Hunting -
Della Selner
(Jeanne - I think it's likely that one of these is you George's line. They
most likely go back to Christian, Conrad and John Zoellner in Bucks,
Northampton, and Leghigh Co.s in PA. if I find more I'll forward it)

Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the right way to get a message on this board or not,
but here goes.
My greatgrandfather was George M. Zellner, born at Northhampton, PA Jan. 15,
1847. Moved to Seneca Co. OH, where he married Catherine Englert, born,
Sept.
26, 1854. I have a pretty complete listing of their descendants but no
information on George's ancestors. It was interesting to read about the
Hession mercinaries because someone told me once that Zellner meant
"soldier".
It would be interesting to know if my George is related to George P. or the
other Zellners mentioned in this newsletter from Tiffin Ohio.
