Hi Jessica,

I'm wondering if my Ziegler ancestors fit in somewhere with this line of Zieglers. Some of the names are similar sounding and the geographical location is close. I'm wondering b/c my ancestors were from Rockwell, IA. (My great grandfather was Gabriel Ziegler, he had a harness shop in Rockwell, Ia) He as married to a Martha Klevin. Children were Paul Werner, Elsa N, Thedora, Hazel, Rosina M, and Leonora. Gabriel had a brother named Christian Ziegler (I know from family oral history), and I found a passenger list from the ship Bohemia arriving in New York March 26, 1889 with a Gabriel Ziegler (16 year old) and Christian Ziegler (17 year old) listed as passengers. I believe this to be my great grandfather's arrival to America and start of my family line here in america. I would like to know more about his immediate family and ancestor's though. There are multitudes of Christian Zieglers though and tough for me to figure out which one was truly Gabriel's brother.
