Gregor Ziemer was born May 24, 1899 in Columbia, Michigan. You can read about him on an advertising brochure for speeches he gave after WWII. The Library of Congress has this online:

Click on the right side of the brochure to enlarge the biography of Gregor Ziemer from Who's Who in America.
After WWII he was Educational Director of the Town Hall in New York City and traveled around the country giving speeches.
