Hi Darlene I have all messages about the Zions relayed to me. Anything
that you want to know--Rick has info on all sides of family to about five
gernerations. Is this Bob Cole? Rick has been in communication with him
too. I have my BIA card now and am enrolled in the Choctaw Nation. All you
need to do is send for an application from the BIA and the Choctaw Nation.
You can't apply for Choctaw citizenship until you have your BIA card. It
takes about a month to hear from them. The BIA will want a STATE CERTIFIED
BIRTH CERTIFICATE--$15.00 - and your mother's also--both must show the same
last name. They will want a copy of your marriage licenses showing the
progression of your last names--born breshears--Breshears married
Sanchez--Sanchez married Forsyth. This is what the BIA will require. All
that the Choctaw Nation will require is the BIA card number which will show
your degree of Indian blood. Then you can enroll your children and
grandchildren. You will be eligible for a monthly issue of free food from
one of their centers. REAL BUTTER ! Medical and dental at their
participating clinics--and vision. Educational benefits--might have to go
to Oklahoma--don't know for sure. Anyway, this is how you get it started.
You might call the BIA to tell them that your sister is registered and ask
if maybe all you will need is a sworn statement from me. I don"t know.
worth a shot to save money on the forms.
You don't answer your emails. I'm interested to hear how John is doing.
Love, John

What a surprise! Would like to hear from you, and find how you and all the
cousins, aunts and uncles are doing.
