I recently bought a book called The Diaries of Evan Pugh, 1762-1801, published by the St. David's Society, Florence, South Carolina, 1993. Pugh was a Baptist minister in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina, and kept this diary of people and events for almost 40 years. He resided in the Long Bluff area of the Upper Pee Dee region of the old Darlington District of South Carolina. Knowing that many of the courthouses and records in this area were destroyed by war/fire, this record is invaluable. One of the entries was for December 28, 1786, and was this, "at home, married Peter Bozeman to Sarah Brown". There were a few other references to Peter Bozeman through 13 May 1800. I hope this helps someone, and I will be glad to provide copies to anyone who needs documentation, or just wants them. Duke Jones.
