a few more early Bozeman's who are "unlinked".

Solomon Nettle 1 Jan 1762 700 acres in Edgecombe Co, joining Jerry
Simmons, the fork between Jerrys branch and Jerrys Creek, Alexanders
line, the Beaver dam Branch, Harrods line, the side of the sd. creek,
and the bent
of Jerrys Creek. OR: /s/ Solomon Nettle Wit: John Spendelow.
surveyed 8 Dec 1761. SCC: Jacob Nettle, Samuel Bozeman. W. Haywood,
Surveyor (?).

OR: refers to original records -grants and plats- found at NC State
Archives in Raleigh which have been conflated with the patent book
entries.

/s/ refers to the signature, or mark, of the grantee as it appears on
the original grant.

SCC: stands for sworn chain carrier, and refers to the names, as listed
on the original plat, of those who helped the surveyor.
