Hi Cousins,
We have looked for the parents of Elizabeth (Betsy )Ward. I found a
small book on the Ward family and Bryant Ward and Nancy
who was the niece of Attakullaculla (The Little Carpenter) a White (Peace )
Cherokee Indian Chief for over 50 years.Bryant Ward traded with the Indians
and this was likely the way they met.He had a son John Ward by his unknown
wife and Nancy & Bryant had a daughter Elizabeth (Betsy )Ward. Could this be
the Elizabeth who married Luke Bozeman?
