I am searching for lineage to the Chickasaw Indian Tribe through the
Slater/Bozeman connection.
Christiana Lavasta Slater (1853-1943 Prentiss, MS) married to John Fulton
Baker (1836-1927 Prentiss, MS). Christiana Slater was the daughter of Warren
Slater (1817-1900) and Mary Bozeman (1834-1909). Mary Bozeman was said to be
1/2 Chickasaw. Her parents were John and Elizabeth Bozeman. Warren Slater
was the son of Thomas Beal Slater(1790 in GA or MD) and Hester Warren
(1799-1870). Thomas Beal Slater was the son of James Slater (1755 in Ireland
and died May 22, 1804) and Charity Beal? (1757 in Sylvania, GA).
