Hello John,
That's an interesting theory, too. There is, in fact, a Lake Meade only a
few miles south of where Samuel and Ralph lived on the Western Branch of the
Nansemond River.

Steve; It is my theory that one the Bozemans married someone with the the
surname "Meade", as there was a Quaker family with that name at the same
time
and region. Of course one of the Whites may have married a Meade, and the
name
was passed down that way. Whatever way, I do believe the first name Meady
came
from the surname Meade. Just a theory.
