Subject: [BOZEMAN] THE BOZEMAN TRAILS
Date: Thu, 24 May 2001 20:16:23 -0500

I have named my records of the Bozeman family, "The Bozeman Trails."
John Bozeman open a trail to Montana and took settlers to that area by
way of the Bozeman Trail. Our own Bozeman family has grown through the
years since Samuel and Ann and we have made our own individual trails
across this country. Therefore the name, "The Bozeman Trails."

I have had a request to start with Samuel and list each family with all
known data, covering just one family at a time so that corrections or
additions can be made, or questions answered. (if possible) Each family
of descendants will eventually be covered. If this can be completed in
two years, I think we will be lucky. To keep from repeating information,
marriages will be included only when that particular family is covered.
So children's spouses will not be listed until their family is covered.

b. born , d. died, m. married , ? not sure, ca about

So here goes:

Samuel Edward Bozeman b. 1730, Bladen Co., NC d. 1795 Bladen Co., NC m.
Ann Richardson 1755 Bladen Co., NC b.1736 Bladen Co., NC d. 1782 Bladen
Co., NC dau of Jefferson and Mary Richardson.

children:
Joseph b. 14 Apr 1756 Bladen Co., NC d. 25 Sep 1821 Covington Co., AL -
farmer
Samuel b. ca 1758 Bladen Co., NC d. Dublin, GA?
Celia b. 1761 Bladen Co., NC d. after May 1885 GA
Jacob b. 1763 Bladen Co., NC d. 1837 New Harmony, IN ??? farmer
Luke Bozeman 1765 Bladen Co., NC d. 16 Jan 1814 Twiggs Co., GA
Sarah b. ca 1770 Bladen Co., NC d. 1810 Augusta, GA
Winny b. ca 1772 Bladen Co., NC d. 1835 GA
James b. 27 Mar 1774 Bladen Co., NC d. 3 Sep 1834 Scottsboro, Baldwin, GA
Etheldred b. ca 1776 Bladen Co., NC d. after 1844, but before 1850

I will cover one family at a time until all known descendants are listed.
So jump right in with additions, corrections, documentations,
occupations, etc. I believe we will be able to learn a lot, and if this
goes as planned, I will do the same with Meady's family. Then I would
like to see the same format for the Bozeman families of Maryland and
other lines. I will need your help. I will go as far as I can, then I
made need for others to bring a family up to date where my info ends.

If everyone likes this idea, (by the way, Joyce Bozeman of Vidor, TX
gets the credit) let me know.

Henry
