BOWNESS - At the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Monday, June 4,
2007, of Jean C. Bowness of Bedeque, aged 88 years. Born in North
Tryon, April 24, 1919, daughter of the the late Percy and Olive (Leard)
Delaney. Wife of the late J. Hammond Bowness. Mother of Ferne (Clem)
Lechelt, Calgary, Alta; Alan (Barbara), Summerside; Gordon (Laura Jean)
(L.J.), Summerside; Donald, Pincher Creek, Alberta; Bill (Eileen),
Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and Robert (Lori), Calgary, Alberta. Grandmother
of 10 grandchildren and two great granddaughters. Sister of Ruby
(Duncan) Murray, Gladys (Colin) Campkin all of Toronto and Marion
(George) Smith of Summerside. Also surviving are a number of nieces and
nephews. Predeceased by her brother Warren and his wife Marie Delaney.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Friday
from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Saturday in the Bedeque United Church at
1 p.m. Interment in the Searletown Cemetery. If so desired
contributions may be made to the Bedeque United Church, Prince County
Hospital Foundation or the Searletown Cemetery Fund.

ELLSWORTH - The death occurred suddenly at home in Ascenion on Tuesday
June 5, 2007 of Peter Ellsworth aged 59 years. He was born in Pleasant
View on July 25, 1947 the son of Louis and Florence (Shea) Ellsworth.
He survived by Ethel (nee Gavin) Ellsworth, Tignish and daughters Tammy
(Willard) Gallant, Ascension; Cindy Ellsworth, Summerside and Cheryl
(Duane) Arsenault, Harper Road. Brother to Lloyd (Lorraine)
Ayerscliffe, Que.; Kevin (Sharon), Summerside, Irene (Stephen)
Callaghan, Ascension and a sister-in-law Rosie Ellsworth, N.W.T. Loving
grandfather to Mariah, Paige and Lucas Gallant, Dominic, Benjamin and
Heidi Arsenault. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He
was predeceased by his parents Louis and Florence, sister Frances in
infancy, niece Missy Ellsworth, brothers-in-law Lloyd Gavin and James
Myatt, sister-in-law Joanie Gavin. Resting at the West Prince Funeral
Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and
Saturday from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Funeral will be held at the Immaculate
Conception Church, Palmer Road at 3 p.m. Interment in the church
cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Fr. Ellsworth
Scholarship Fund would be greatly appreciated.

MacDONALD - The death occurred in Georgetown, Ont., on Sunday, June 3,
2007, of Lloyd MacDonald, formerly of Albany, P.E.I., aged 70 years.
Husband of the late Marion MacPhail; father of Gregory, Jeffery (Diane)
and Randy of Ontario and grandfather of Gregory, Amanda and Armel.
Beloved brother of Preston (Cora), Garnet (Jean), John (Mae), Hollis
(Lorraine), Carl (Barbara), Blanche Jewell, Verna McKenna, Jennie
Mayhew, Dot Jewell, Ethel MacDonald, Wanda Lord, Dianne (Garnet)
Stewart. Also lovingly remembered by the MacPhail family, five
brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law, as well as numerous nieces and
nephews. Funeral and burial to be held in Georgetown, Ont.

STEWART - The death occurred at the Community Hospital, O’Leary on
Wednesday, June 6, 2007 of Wendell Stewart of Miminegash and formerly
of Murray Harbour, P.E.I., aged 77 years. He was born in Murray Harbour
on Jan. 25, 1930, to the late Raymond and Isabel (Nicolle) Stewart. He
is survived by a sister Ruth (the late Robert) Whiteway, Charlottetown,
a brother Bill (Anne) Stewart, Murray Harbour, and a special freind
Goldie Morgan, Miminegash. He was predeceased by his parents Raymond
and Isabel and a brother Arnett. Committal service for the cremated
remains will by held at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Palmer Road
Friday at 11 am. No visiting hours as his personal request. Funeral
arrangements entrusted to the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road.
