In Ridgebury district lived Aaron Turner who was also proprietor of a circus. He lived in the section that was set off to Danbury in 1846. His farm was just above Ridgebury on the road leading to Brewster. The Turner house in Danbury was built and operated by him, and this became his home after he left Ridgebury. Mr. Turner had two son, Napoleon and Tim, who were very expert bare-back riders.
