Hi,
I would appreciate any information or advice on how to find the parents
of Samuel FERGUSON, born probably near Clones (Co. Monaghan or Co.
Fermanagh) in the early 1800s. Also, would like to find the maiden name
of Samuel's wife Sarah FERGUSON, and their marriage date and location,
. The couple had at least one son, John FERGUSON, b. 3 Jan 1848, bapt.
13 Feb 1848 in Clones. John FERGUSON later married Catherine MOORHEAD,
the daughter of Robert and Jane MOORHEAD, also of Clones.

Does anybody have any info on the Fergusons in Co. Fermanagh in the late
1700s? I believe that my Samuel FERGUSON most likely "branched" from
Fermanagh.

I would appreciate any help you may be able to give.
