Samuel Ferguson lived (middle 1700s) and died in Ireland, married Margaret
HALL. According to the Portrait and Biographical Album of Henry Co., IL
(1885), the children of this couple were James, John, Samuel, Mary, Margaret,
and a child who "died young."

Son John came to America and died here, but I have no information about him.

Son James did not come to the United States, but some of his children came.
He had twin sons James and George (b. 1819 Co. Monaghan) who left Ireland in
1847.

Twin James settled in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and was still living there
when the above book was published in 1885. I have no other information on
him.
Twin George (m. Ann HALL 1844 in Ireland) settled in Henry Co., IL after
living in Toronto and in PA. Siblings of these twins were Samuel, Thomas,
Margaret, Martha, Jane, and Isabella. I have no information on any of them.

George's children were John J (Kittson Co., MN),
James (Fargo, ND)
George (IL)
Esther JENKINS (IA)
Margaret HUNTER (IL)
Martha DOTY (IL)
Mary KING (IL)
