I have a James Ferguson who arrived in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada about 1847
and lived there all his life. He was still living in 1885, according to the
Portrait and Biographical Album of Henry Co., Illinois, published in 1885. He
had a twin George who settled in Henry Co., Illinois. Their parents were James
and Margot Huss Ferguson from Co. Fermanagh/Monaghan, Ireland. Other
siblings of James were Martha, Margaret, Jane, Isabella, Samuel, and Thomas, but I do
not know if they left Ireland, or if they did, where they settled.
