Dear Richard,

I think the following will clarify your questions:

From my posting on 6/3/2003:

"Family Tree DNA and Genealogy.com had a business relationship prior to them being purchased by MyFamily.com and becoming part of the same group that Ancestry.com belongs to.

Ancestry.com decided to extend this partnership and offer Family Tree DNA tests in their own web site. People can order all tests through them at the same rates - individual and group rates - that we offer."

And from my other posting on that same day:

"Family Tree DNA is not owned nor a subsidiary of MyFamily.com, Ancestry.com, Genealogy.com or any other company in that group."

E-mail me any time!
P.S. - Have you already added your results to www.Ysearch.org, the FTDNA sponsored Y-DNA public database?
