John,

I am calculating an average rate for those "within" the surname project
in the same manner that someone would calculate the average rate for
those "within" the larger population as a whole. My Log is going to log
the average rates observed in "within" various surname project. And then
I will plot a histogram.

And hopefully some larger projects will enter data into my log too.

And we could even plot separate histograms based on project sizes too.
No telling what the data could end up being used for. So give it a
chance, will you?

Relax a bit John. More data in this field is better than less. My
project will bring the data together all in one place in a synergistic
way. In the end the data and the Log will speak for itself. Let's see
what my Log entries reveals in six months to a year.

And if in the future, if you turn out to be right I will tell you so.
And likewise, if I turn out to be right I hope you will do likewise.
