Awhile back I mentioned an article that appeared back in May that suggested
that scientists at the Max Planck Institute in Leipzig have successfully
sequenced y-dna from a 47,000-year-old Neanderthal skeleton. No one seemed
to notice. Maybe the message didn't make it onto the List somehow.

I don't know how accurate the article is, but, if true, that would certainly
represent quite a breakthrough.
Has anyone heard anything more on this subject?
